As a son of a Hungarian refugee, survival, and freedom resonated early to break free from traditional thinking. The discovery of Pinot Noir offered infinite possibilities fed the constant need for discovery. Kenneth’s pathway to Pinot began with exploring Burgundy and Europe, working harvests, and consulting in Willamette Valley, New Zealand, Napa, and Sonoma. In 2003, we started Auteur with the simple goal to make the best Pinot in California.
Originally from Toronto, Patrick brings his cellar-background and knowledge with a twist of down-to-earth energy to our wines.
