Our Philosophy
Our
winemaking philosophy is to maintain the DUALISM between
the varietals MASCULINE AND FEMININE CHARACTER.
To achieve this depth, we select vineyards situated in
COOL MICROCLIMATES of Oregon and California while focusing
exclusively on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Our vineyard
designate wines ripen slowly through cool moderate temperatures
maximizing the fruits personality and allows the
feminine lively upper notes of floral, mineral and spice
to fold into the masculine core of a deep fruit. |
The
Winemaking History
Winemaker
and owner, Kenneth Juhasz, conditioned his winemaking
background by working on several projects in the cool
climates of Oregon's Willamette Valley, Sonoma's Russian
River and Carneros regions, as well as New Zealand's Central
Otago. He pilots the wines through balance, fruit ripeness,
structure with acidity and encourages vintage variation
as part of the intrigue and appreciation of his wines.
Kenneth and his wife and partner Laura bring the philosophy
that maintaining the dualism between the varietal's masculine
and feminine personalities is what makes exceptional wine.
