Auteur’s Donum designate wine comes from the classic ‘Old Wente’ clone established on the estate in 1974. This wine is crafted with 100% Old Wente offering its signature acidic framework with vibrant floral and stone fruit aromatics and a lingering mineral finish. Managed by veteran viticulturist, Anne Moller-Racke, Donum Estate sits in Sonoma’s cool Carneros appellation where rattling winds slow the ripening process creating delicate and graceful wines.

WINEMAKER'S NOTES
Autumns perfect chardonnay, lush pear, baked apple and lychee nut are matched with high tones of minerality, citrus and fresh apple blossoms. The palate is rich and creamy, yet structured by tight, crisp acidity with velvety tannins, reminiscent of the ‘Old Wente’ clone. Delicious.
